Hi all. I’m heavily considering a transfer to Fordham as a political science/economics major from a university I’m currently enrolled in. I’m going to wait maybe a year until my freshman year is up to apply but I was wondering if anyone had any advice or similar situations. Here are some stats.
ACT score: 26
HS GPA: 4.1
Pell honors program in my current university.
Student Government club, along with a few other extracurriculars.
Hi! Im also interested in transferring to Fordham after my freshmen year as a Psychology Major from a university Im currently attending.
My High School stats are not good but I have a lot of extracurriculars and community service. Im doing very well in my university currently.
Considering my horrible HS stats but drastically improved academic standing at my current university I was wondering what my chances would be.
Hi! I’m also looking into Fordham as a transfer for fall 2020. I’m currently a News Media major and would stat communications. I’m worried about the high cost though as I’ve heard transfers don’t get much aid. I’m in solid standing now at the school I’m at and I’d be transferring with about 50 credits.
My HS gpa was a 3.9 and I was very involved and participated in a bunch of extracurriculars like Key Club and was editor of our school magazine. Looking also at what my chances would be to get in and with some money?
The school is great but that 70k price tag is not.
I also was thinking about transferring to Fordham in fall 2020 from my current university. My high school ec’s are great, my GPA and grades were okay, and my current grades are also good. I am going to retake the SAT to see if I could get a bit higher, that way I would be considered “Above Average” for Fordham Stats. I think its an amazing school but 74,000 per year is crazy expensive. How is the financial aid?
hi! I just got accepted for spring 2020 as a transfer to Rose Hill! im waiting on other schools still, but here are my stats…they are not anything special! :
college gpa: 3.1, but will be higher after this semester
high school gpa: 3.85 on a weighted scale & very involved in high school
good rec letters
involved in one club on campus but it is difficult to get into and works alongside student psych services
