I'd say you're in. Fordham's not a particularly difficult school to get into. I got in with a 3.7 GPA and an SAT score of 1830. Just don't fail any classes in your senior year. :)

yes u have a good chance, but make sure you try to find out about housing and what not early, if u really want to go then ED there. but i would say your grades are on point and ur sats are better than the average.

looks good to me..and in regards to what flamingspirit said, Fordham has Early Action, not Decision, so it can only help applying early and its nonbinding. Good luck!

your chances look pretty pretty good. Agree with retaking the SAT to get a higher mark. Good luck and mabuhay, peaceout. Make sure you let us know how it turns out.

bigb...how is it there in fordham? do you like it? what comments do you have about it? :)

i would also really love to hear about everyone else! where did you guys go? what were your stats? do you think you made the right decision? what are your comments about your college? :D

I honestly don't know yet... I start as a freshman this Fall. I have visited campus though, and it's very beautiful. Classes are small, the campus is secure, the MetroNorth is right next door, the people I met were really friendly, and to top it off, the girls are HOT! ;)
To answer your question, yes, I think I made the right choice.

What's amusing is that Fordham's acceptance rate is 32 percent.
That may seem laughable compared to the Ivy League, but it's still surprisingly low, given how many people apply to Fordham every year.

I also plan on applying to fordham or the fall I curretly go to Iona College and have a cum gpa of 3.1 my high school grades are not that good at all maybe c+ - B- average but I have completed enough college credits to where my SAT scores are not required!!!! what do u think my chances of being accepted are??

dcobb1: well, i think that you should definitely apply if you really want to go there! i dont know if they will look at your high school grades if you're applying as a transfer...but if they are then they might hurt you a bit. Just make sure your essay, recs and your entire application makes you stand out :) good luck to the both of us!

thanks everyone for your input!

i really want to go fordham because of its business school, the small classes, the campus (in pictures at least :p) looks great, and everything!

i hope you guys are right that i have a chance!
im applying EA and will post if i get in!

if you have any other comments about me or fordham pls post it :)

and if i can help you guys with anything, just ask.
