@EmRaeee I was just thinking the same thing I think I’m gonna live in there provided housing but have no idea.
Has anoyone made a Facebook group for Fall transfer students so we can all really get to know each other? This maybe a good idea espically if they room transfer students together.
just curious…why are you all deciding to transfer to fordham?
It is a way better/nicer school than the one I went to this year
I applied right before the June 1 transfer deadline… Any idea when I should hear back?
Im a little confused did anyone register for classes or make an appointment with an advisor yet?
Also what did you guys have to do to let your current school know you won’t be attending there in the fall?
Is anyone else going to the transfer barbecue at Lincoln Center next Monday?
@thebirdman5091 Is it only for LC students or is it just being held there?
Anyone else waiting to find out where the hell you’re living?
@EmRaeee I am they told me it would be realeased on a rolling basis but I don’t know how they still haven’t assinged transfer students housing and we move in in 10 days
Welcome to how things are done at Fordham ResLife @EastCoastgirl06 and @EmRaeee. You probably won’t find out until a few days before. My daughter is a RH resident and when she was going into her sophomore year, she was put in “Post Housing”. What that means is, there were no rooms available for her to choose from on selection day and now she has to wait and wait and wait until something becomes available during the summer. She didn’t find out where she was living until 5 days before move in.
So, hopefully you’ll hear soon. Good luck!
Thank you for the responses @EastCoastGirl06 & @MomTheChauffer ! Sheesh, post housing sounds like a nightmare! I ended up calling ResLife the same day I commented and I was told I’d find out that day. About 15 minutes after I hung up, I received an email with my housing assignment (anyone else in Martyrs Court?) Hopefully everyone received their assignments by now!
Well @EmRaeee welcome to Martyr’s!!! My daughter lived there for two years (she should get a special medal at graduation) and every summer for summer session classes. Which wing are you in?
One thing about Martyr’s is that there is AC!! If you can loft your bed high enough you can fit a fridge under it. The bad thing is there is no elevator so depending on what floor you are on, good luck with that. So the smaller the fridge the better! There is a wardrobe with drawers on the bottom, desk and bookcase. Good luck with move in!
