So this might seem like a pretty dumb question, but I thought I'd ask anyway. My question concerns housing. So, say I've been admitted to a major at Lincoln Center with housing, am I supposed to live at that campus? The reason I ask this is because I've been recently added to the Fordham Admitted Class of 2016 Facebook page I saw that a lot of kids have put Rose Hill as their campus, but Lincoln Center as their College.. In an ideal world, this is what I would love to do but I highly doubt it's possible.

Anyways, thank you for any info :) and I apologize if it's a dumb question, I just can't find an answer anywhere else..

If you have a major at LC, then your dorm will be on that campus (and the same for RH students). However you can go to the other campus whenever you want (for activities, sporting events, or even take a class on the other campus). The LC dorm is great and is in an amazing location in Manhattan so enjoy.
No question is dumb :)

I have no clue why kids would be so confused as to put LC as their college but Rose Hill as their campus on facebook. The only possible logical explanation is they just want to connect to everyone admitted to Fordham’s class of 2016 and perhaps that facebook page is for everyone, both at LC and Rose Hill.

If you are admitted to LC with housing you will be living at LC. Period. Fordham does not offer housing at Rose Hill for Lincoln Center students, or vice versa. Its one or the other, or you commute.

The other good news is that Fordham LC is undergoing a 250 million dollar renovation/expansion of both the College at Lincoln Center and the Law School. How much of this involves McMahon dorms at LC I don’t know. But the net effect is a lot more space, modern facilities and a lot of positive exposure. They fought for years in the courts with locals who make life difficult…but succeeded, got the funding and now are fully involved in the construction. Its Fordham’s committment to Lincoln Center.

Yeah people putting LC as their College and Rose Hill as their Campus kind of confused me too but maybe you’re right in that they’re just trying to connect with everyone who was admitted. The facebook page is (I think) an app set up by Fordham Admissions for admitted students to get to know each other. You can list your college as well as you campus and major. Perhaps the people who put LC as their college are actually going to be living there but they plan to spend a lot of time at Rose Hill too (like me).

Although may major is at LC, I am going to try and connect with RH as I really want to attend the sporting events and other student events and get involved with the whole school spirit.

Thank you both for clearing that up and I’m really looking forward to being at Fordham next year!
