Fordham transfer for this fall?

hi everyone, i was studying music ed at my previous college and decided to transfer to a conservatory. private teacher encouraged me to take a semester off to really practice for the audition (transfer auditions for spring 2019 were only a month after i made my decision to transfer - not enough time to prepare!). i decided during my time off that i don’t want to do music at all. i found out a few weeks ago that i cannot apply to barnard or columbia because i do not have enough credits to be considered a transfer student (min. 24, i only have 15) and the deadline to apply as a first-year was in december. i really love fordham, and their website makes no mention of a credit minimum. i also called office of admissions, explained my situation, and the guy said there is no transfer credit min. do you think that the 15 credits will pose a problem? i’m very anxious about this - i don’t want to take another year off. for reference: 30 ACT, 4.45 weighted GPA in hs, 4.0 at previous school. many extracurriculars and achievements (mostly music like all state, concerto competitions, but also editor of literary magazine, president of tri-m, and volunteer work at my church). thoughts??? have not heard back yet, applied 2/23.

Hi :slight_smile: Fordham received my application 12/23 and I got accepted March 7th! They received all my documents by February 7th.

Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.87
Credits: 63 quarter units
ACT: 27

I am not sure about credits, you would have to double check but I’m sure you’re fine because here it says no requirements for the number of credits: https://www.fordham.edu/info/20543/transfer_students

Hi Fordham received my application on March 9th and had all my documents by March 13th and I received my acceptance today!

HS GPA 4.3 -involved in track and field, ASB, and other clubs
CC GPA 3.8 -involved in economics club, accounting internship
