I agree that there seem to be too many portals, was thinking of going online to check but couldn’t face the struggle. Fortunately the award letter arrived in the mail today. Merit only 7K, disappointing when it looked like my son would qualify for one of the 15K Dean’s Scholarships. We will have to look into the appeals process.
D got a total of 15k (plus loans that we don’t want her to take).

I don’t think Fordham is known for giving great aid. They probably just don’t have the endowment to compete with some other schools. If you have better offers from schools that are on par, you can try to fight for more.
My DD received 22.5K for a Loyola Scholarship and additional Tuition aid. I was astounded as she didn’t apply for anything.
Does anybody know how you can accept a tuition award without accepting the financial aid?? I am not using financial aid but I would like to accept my scholarship… I’m also wondering if I have to fill out the FAFSA and CSS to accept a tuition award (scholarship)
Good questions. I would call the FA office. Can you let us know when you find out?
I think you have to file the FAFSA not the CSS. Double check but I think for merit scholarships you only have to do it once. Mine received a merit with only the FAFSA. They are awarded through admissions office not financial aid office.
