“@cangie You won’t be considered for any merit scholarships if you don’t fill out the FAFSA or CSS. So I guess if you’re accepted you’re ok with paying out over $65K a year???”
That’s not true. You will be considered and awarded a propective merit award even if you don’t fill out the forms. If you decide to attend, then you have to fill out the forms to actually get the awards from Fordham.
It’s a Fordham thing… most merit scholarships don’t require FA forms
For at least the past three years decisions have come out on Dec. 15th. Since the 15th is a Saturday this year, probably either Friday or Monday. Can’t see them doing it over the weekend.
Not sure if they try and beat BC with the decision release date, as BC just announced that their decisions will be released on Tuesday.
For some reason, I had the impression that decisions were coming out on December 19. Is it possible that they would send them out sooner? Do merit scholarship decisions come at the same time as the admission decisions?
So anxious. Just got deferred from my top choice last night and I don’t have many options at this point. I know its ‘early’ but so many of my friends already know where they’re going to college
Hi all - anxious mom here. I just called admissions and they confirmed that they will be releasing decisions today!! Not all will be posted today - they will go out each day until the 19th, including this weekend.
She said that the decisions will be posted on the portal and the student will get an email telling them when their decision has been posted.
With my daughter a few years ago, the portal update came almost a full day before she got an email. Which is leaving me checking the portal over and over, and he will take over the checking when he gets home from school.
