I got accepted into Fordham and GWU.
I want to study business.

Fordham is in NYC, which is an amazing city. I'm an international student and my father recently bought an apartment in Manhattan which is 20 minutes away by car for Rose Hill Campus. So I guess my parents will be coming to NYC at least two weeks every year/ And since my dad has businesses in NYC, I will have a high chance of getting a great internship.

As for GWU, it is in DC, and the location is tempting enough for me. It is ranked higher than Fordham and has a more international student body. I will be really far from home, and therefore I'll need a good amount of friends to keep me going.
Dc is two to three hours away from NYC by car, so I'm not sure how much I'll be seeing my parents when they do go to NYC.

Any opinions or advice?
BTW I also got accepted at Baruch College, NEU, LMU and waitlisted at Babson.
I would really appreciate it if you share your thoughts.

I’m in the same boat, deciding between Fordham and GW for a history major
I’m leaning towards GW because it is ranked higher overall, and D.C seems like the best place to study history or politics, but I would say Fordham for you because it seems like New York would be the best place to study business with Wall Street a subway ride away, and because the curriculum is flexible enough that if you change your mind about what you want to study. Plus with the Jesuits you can’t really go wrong in terms of education.

Something to consider would be whether you prefer a decentralized city campus or an actual campus in the city.

As you asked this same question on the Fordham thread, I will post my same answer:

Allow me to cite something that might sway your decison. The Paris School of Mines does a study of the top CEOs at Fortune 500 companies every few years and ranks all the schools in the world (thousands) according to the number each places in these high business positions and lists the top 700. Below is a listing of all the US (and UK) schools on the current rankings above 350. I have excluded all other international schools. Note where Fordham lands. This speaks well of the strength of a Fordham degree in the business world.
