I am stuck between GW and Fordham. My intended major is history/political science, with a pre-law track. I absolutely love GW and all of the opportunities in Washington DC, but am concerned about the living situation at GW. Fordham has a great campus, a great student body and is a little cheaper. What do you guys think?

DC is a very nice location with many different restaurants and shopping places in 3 cities. You have the Chinatown, Georgetown, and Du Pont village. It’s a hassling place, but all you will need is a bycicle and you should be okay. Walking shouldn’t be one of the priorities if you want to live in DC. Furthermore, during my GWU tour last month, it seems like they have good residentials halls in the urban area and have a place where everyone can gather together.

There was nothing for me to doubt about the city of Washington D.C when I went there and the college campus itself.
