Do admissions officers evaluate the SAT II scores in context of how many years you've studied the language? Or do they just take the score as it is?

I took the Latin test in June and got a 700 (75th percentile). Although CB recommended two-four years of study before taking the exam, I only studied one year by my own. Is that worth emphasizing on my application?

so you mean to say you learned latin independently? i'm trying to do that myself, though i don't intend to take any standardized test. which book did you use? i'm using wheelock's latin.

Yes, I studied it independently. (I am homeschooled, so everything for me is independent. blah.) Wheelocks kicks butt. I had other books too, but they weren't as in-depth as wheelocks.

By the way, don't get the workbook. It is mainly just a repeat of the supplemental exercises given in the back. Get the Short Stories book, if you can, though. The stories are kinda fun and interesting to read.
