I'm very interested in Foreign Languages but not specifically just one, so I'd like to major in multiple.
I noticed that Syracuse University has a major called "Modern Foreign Languages", where you pick two languages and study both of them as one major.
I'm looking for other majors and programs similar to this, but am having trouble finding many.
I have considered and still am considering majoring in things like Linguistics and double majoring in two languages, but just want to know if anyone has some extra insight on programs that I don't know about.
I would prefer schools in and around the North-East, but it is not necessary.

I don’t think there are too many combined majors like that. At some schools you can double-major in more than one language - although typically they are related languages, like two Romance languages (French + Spanish or Spanish + Portuguese). Syracuse’s program is really the equivalent of two minors combined into one study:

The Modern Foreign Languages major allows students to combine the equivalent of two language minors (French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish) into one major.

A lot of schools also have individualized or self-designed majors; you could use Syracuse’s curriculum as a basis to design your own major at one of these places.

Just as a note, linguistics is different from studying languages. Linguistics is the study of the way language is structured and understood.

A number of liberal arts colleges offer linguistic majors that are interdisciplinary in nature, combining study in actual foreign language with study in computer science, grammar studies (effectively ‘linguistics’), anthropology, and philosophy. Reed, Grinnell, and Swarthmore are a few, though I’m sure that there are more.
