Foreign Language Professors

<p>I'm trying to decide between taking Elementary Italian or taking Elementary Arabic at Vandy in the fall, so I'm hoping for some input from people who've had these professors:</p>

<p>(and yes I have checked ratemyprofessors.com. lol. A few of these profs aren't on there though, which is... expected, I guess.)</p>

<p>Mahmud or Gure for Arabic (and Hamad for more advanced Arabic later on)</p>

<p>Filosa or Messina or Barrett for Italian (or Muccini for Intensive Elementary Italian - also, anyone have any thoughts on this course? workload, pace, etc as compares to regular Elem Italian?)</p>

<p>I’ve heard good things about Arabic, and I haven’t heard much at all about Italian. I do have some insight into Hebrew if that is an option. Other than that sorry :(</p>
