would it be to critical in admission process(perhaps automatic reject?)? if i have not taken any because i came to the states 2 years ago and english was so hard...

i really hope not..thinking all those hourse doing ap homeworks...but tell me the thruth please...

Explain your situation in your application. If you have other challenging coursework, I'm certain you will be fine.

If your first language is not English, you already have a "foreign" language!

thanks...i have posted this thread several time but i keep getting nervous...
i have e-mailed USC and Cal and..they said it was ok...

wierd situation hah??bump..

It's a common situation for international students. The vast majority of schools waive the language requirement for students whose native language is not English, so as long as you explain your situation, it will be more important to show that your second (or third or fourth?) language, English, is at a level where you won't have any fluency problems that will get in the way of college work. Good luck!

id like to know it for sure...did anyone have experienced it??especially for UCs...
thank you
