My school offers Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Latin, and American Sign Language. I take Spanish.

My school only has Spanish and German from 1 to 3.

Most people take Spanish, but I took German because it’s my dream to study abroad at the Austrian School of Economics.

I’m also learning Old English online.

:)

Chinese and Spanish.
I took Chinese because it seems to be more important for work

MY school offers:
Mandarin I-IV
Spanish I-V
French I-V

I really didn’t have a choice, my middle school forced me into Spanish 1 & 2 in 7th and 8th grade. Most people take Spanish at my school, I take Spanish 3 Honors. It’s incredible how their High School classes were not as well done as my middle school ones. I’m the only kid with the A in the class and I’m a freshman.

Honestly, I would choose french, I love the style, it’ll gain me chicks later in life hahah :)

LOL @halcyonheather “I picked it because I knew some Spanish words”. :D

My school offers French, Spanish, and Tagalog. I took French, and had some of the best experiences of my entire high school career.

What more can I say than je l’aime?

Le fran

ASL
Japanese
Chinese
Spanish
Latin
French
German

Le fran

Est-ce que nous parlons en francais maintenant? Mdr.

Anyway, I’ve noticed that someone else has Italian…to still seem hipster, I’m going to mention that just last year a school in the next county over became the first school in the whole state to offer Portuguese! Beat that.

Latin: Very few students take Latin due its difficulty and there is only one teacher. Perhaps 60 kids out of 800.

Spanish: The most popular of the three offered. However, a majority of people stop after Spanish II or Spanish III. AP Spanish is taken by about 7 students.

Italian: Being from northern New Jersey, Italian (especially lower levels) is pretty popular. However, Italian IV and AP Italian are both sparsely populated.

My school offers Latin, Spanish, French, Mandarin, German, Italian. I think we offer up to AP in all of them except Italian. I am in AP Latin. Most people in my grade take AP Spanish because they didn’t start offering the cool languages until we were in the middle of freshman year
But I still would have stuck with Latin even if they had offered the cool stuff because I love Classics! Also, later I would like to learn Spanish or French, and I think that Latin is a good foundation to learn other languages.

Only have Spanish, but we are supposed to be getting either French or German next year, not that it really matters for me because I’m already 2 years into Spanish.

Everyone’s schools have so many languages!
Mine only offers spanish 1-4, French 1&2, and Latin 1-4 but this year the Latin teacher is retiring so I don’t know what we’ll have next year. It’s also really difficult to take any 3&4 classes because they’re mixed with the beginners so you never get individual instruction.

Mine is pretty good for a public school. It offers:
Italian 1-4
Latin 1-5 (ap)
French 1-5/6 (ap)
Spanish 1-5/6 (ap)
German 1-4-ish
Chinese 1-3-ish
And ESL
I take Italian

Just Spanish and French at my school! Spanish classes way more set up. People trying to be different take French. People trying to get past Foreign Language take Spanish.

Currently taking AP Spanish Language because I was raised with Spanish but I’m trying to master the language.
