<p>Most universities want two consecutive years of a foreign language, which I did have, but the problem is it was 8th and 9th grade. Does 8th grade count? or will I have to make it up in college? Will it be a problem when I’m applying? I’m applying at UF, UCF, UNF…</p>
<p>Write an email to admissions (or the most appropriate department at the university). That’s the only way to know for sure if a given college will accept that you completed two years of foreign language.</p>
