foreign language

Hi, I am a raising second year wondering whether I should continue with French or not. I took Latin in high school and I started French last year as a freshman but I'm wondering if it's worth it to continue. I'm wondering if being able to say that I can speak fluent French or near fleunt French will help me with medical school admissions, especially in comparison to instead taking social science courses (econ, anthro, socio, etc). It's not a question about what to major in, since neither French nor a social science subject is something I intend on majoring in-- I'm just wondering as side courses, which would be better for me, if either...

I'd appreciate any opinions!

French would be a good language, but i think the best language to learn for any profession in America (especially healthcare) is spanish. As to your question, some (very few) require a foreign language, but lots of schools recommend an array of courses in the social sciences. If it were me, i'd take the social sciences.
