Forensic careers (undergrad preparation)

If one was interested in something such as Forensic anthropology, what would be the best undergrad major? Would Biology or Chemistry be good? Or perhaps Forensic Science or Anthropology?

What about others like Forensic pathology, entomology, toxicology? Would chemistry be a good major?

The thing is, i love chemistry and may want to do undergrad in it. But I am seeing all these interesting careers and would like to know IF i wanted to do them, how would I? I dont really want to do a Forensic Science undergrad major because that is too specific

You’re right - don’t major in forensic science. Chemistry and biology are good majors for getting into the field, but if you want to be a forensic anthropologist, major in physical anthropology, sometimes called biological anthropology. Normal anthropology is more on the social sciences side.

Chemistry would be a great major and has a lot of flexibility if you decide you don’t want one specific career.
