Hi everyone im new here.
I have a question about med school admissions. Im interested in going to school for forensic pathology. I have been reading that there is alot of emphasis on patient care which is completely understandable. Im wondering if it is a good idea to make it known that this is what i want to specialize in since i do not intend on being involved in direct patient care. Will it hurt my chances at getting accepted into med school? or is it not something that is necessary to be made known in the admissions process? Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated.

No. No one really knows enough about medicine to pick anything at this stage. It just comes off sounding, well,....bad.
