Help me choose my major/concentration!

Hey guys! I'm currently a Biology major who is planning on double majoring in Studio Art, since I was able to get rid of almost all of my graduation requirements and have tons of credits available. Right now I'm a freshman with sophomore standing (junior standing after this summer, but I'll be taking 4 years of college). Obviously I'm hoping to get into medical school and am leaning somewhere along the lines of pathology or neuroscience. I am pretty confident about majoring in Biology and Art, but I have to choose a concentration in Biology and I'm having trouble with this.

Option one is forensic biology. This, I think I would enjoy a lot. However, it isn't entirely relevant to what I want to study, but I know that this is irrelevant when applying to medical school. Option two is neurobiology. Although I might want to do something in neuroscience, I'm not sure if I want to be specific to neurobiology. The thing is, I think I can get very far in this concentration. I have a work study job in a research lab of the professor who is the head of this track and I think that it would look great on an application to have done work/research in the field of my concentration for all 4 years.

I don't really know what I'm asking for right now. Is the neurobiology option really more impressive than the forensic biology one, even generally? Does the concentration of my Biology major even matter in the admissions process? I'm pretty sure I'll have more questions later, but thanks for reading!

A concentration is about as irrelevant as the color of your eyes...maybe more so.

Perhaps the only consideration I think that matters here is if you think the head of the lab you work would in any way be resentful that you work for him but decided not to concentrate in the section he's director of. This is assuming you'd be getting an LOR from him and the possibility of him writing you a negative one.
