I've heard many things about taking forensic science senior year, and usually not good things. A lot of the teachers at my school say colleges look down on it and don't even acknowledge that you took it. They also say colleges would much rather you take an AP Chem, Bio, or Physics.

What do you guys think? Is it true?

It depends where you are applying. My school offers forensics, but any senior that takes it and is also applying to selective schools takes a second science. People seem to enjoy the class, it is just not the most difficult.

Yes, most colleges would want an AP Science instead, but your senior schedule is a minute part of the decisions. If being in that class will allow you to have more time to work on college applications, then you should do Forensic Science
