I was stupid and forgot my NetID. I've scoured the entire website and there seems to be no way of having them re-send your ID through your email or something. They have tools if you've forgotten the password, but not if you've forgotten the ID itself. Help?

Nevermind, got it. >.>

How? I have my Net ID password, but didn’t write down my login.

yeah same here. i think im missing both…crap. am i going to have to call them?

and same here…this has to be one of the most cumbersome websites…no way to find your forgotten Net ID… and the site says phone lines and live chat are available on Sturdays…NOT

celexes…any hints on the nature/ or makeup of the Net ID…like number of characters or anything helpful?

markie59. Yeah. its like a maze no one can navigate. i remeber when i tried making my password initially there were so many password requirenments that i had to pick a completely new password from what i usually use for everything.

i think im gonna call on monday

I only remember part of my Net ID, which is my first initial, my middle initial, my last name, and then two numbers that I can’t remember. If that helps at all…

Oh, and imi1928, I think markie59 meant the Net ID login, not the password.

celexes please help, i need also. the site is a gigantic maze!!!

UIUC utilizes the Banner Enterprise Application for its frontline applications like admissions, financial aid, and ‘registration and records’. You obtain an “Enterprise ID and password” to access these applications. You also get a “NetID and password” to obtain other access to other university custom applications. You should try to keep these usernames and passwords in sync. Most can’t, but knowing that there are two different methods of authenticating is the key to maintaining your passwords. CITES is your first point of contact if you think you’ve forgotten either your username, password, or both. Contact them Monday through Friday during regular business hours for assistance. Alternatively, contact UIUC admissions, if you are not yet a current student.
