Two summers ago, I took an online class on video game programming at a local community college for fun. When I went to fill out my applications, however, I totally forgot about it, and just remembered today. No credit or grade was earned in it, just a dinky little certificate of completion. Do I have to email each of the colleges I applied to explaining this, or do you think they'll just let it slide? I would really prefer not to get rescinded or rejected because of this.

A non-credit course that didn’t generate a community college transcript is something that you don’t ever have to mention unless you want to.

ECs that you don’t care enough to mention, can be left out too. If you do care about the EC, and it is important to your application for some reason (related to your major, explains your low grade in classes that you missed because of participation, etc.) ask your guidance counselor about the best way to add it to the information in your application.
