I pestered my parents for weeks about filling out Financial Aid for college. They finally did it - the day before it was due. I told them to follow up and fax the tax returns, which were due on the 15th and 16th for two colleges. I just realized they never sent in the tax returns. I'm incredibly disappointed that we might not be getting financial aid.. I applied somewhere Early Decision, and now the potential excitement of getting in there may be tempered with the frustration over having to pay for it in full. Should we even bother sending in the tax returns now, or is the financial aid application automatically void?

Call the school and ask them this question. They will probably tell you to fax the returns ASAP.
