I forgot to tell a college I applied to about my personal circumstances during Junior year when my close friend committed suicide. I did mention it in an essay (just one sentence) and said she committed during Junior year, so do you guys think it’s still necessary for me to fax the college a change in my application (talking about personal circumstances)
just wondering because it was during that time that i received a horrifying D grade so I want to make sure that they understood what was going on
Firstly, I am sorry for your loss. However, at this point it’s probably too late. There’s no use in worrying about it - that one ‘D’ is ultimately not going to be the deciding factor in your decision and frankly, if none of your other grades were affected by this incident, it will just look as if you’re making excuses.
