I had a weird situation here. Yesterday got the email saying I had a decision and to check my foster application. Went onto the site and I had the denial letter stating I was missing a minimum requirement to be allowed into the school (which I’m not, I have the fully completed dta business degree). I emailed them saying there must be a mistake because I have all the requirements met with high stats. Got no response from them except another email saying I had a decision on my foster app and it was changed to accepted.
Did anyone get their welcome packet yet?
I have the same situation as you @Guhlio . They said i didnt meet the min 60 credits requirement when in fact i did. I emailed them bt theres no response yet. So did they change their decision about your outcome? Im going to meet the advisers on wednesday.
May i know when are the orientation dates and whether it’s compulsory to go for it?
Ya I emailed them around 6pm when they were closed and 9am the next morning I had a new email stating I had a decision on my foster app. Clicked view letter and it was the acceptance letter. @bluedot
It was an obvious error because where it said minimum requirement missing:
It was just blank. It had all my proper stats loaded and everything.
So they did not state what’s the missing requirement bt they just gave you a rejection letter? I see… Congratulations for your admission tho @Guhlio
Hopefully mine is an error too. Cause my gpa are above the mean i passed my wsa.
And is the orientation compulsory to go? I might be out of the country during that period.
And i just went to uw adviser yesterday. He said that they will start releasing their decision next week since it’s the start of june!
so have you got your decision actually? @bluedot
Yeah! My application was denied because they said i didnt meet the minimum requirement of 60 credits before applying @will96
my case was i took WSA 2 times, the first one was last october with 2.25 score, position 2.5 persuasive 2, and the second time which is this march for the application period. The first time i took it, i didn’t prepare anything and just went in to the test and wing it. and since i got a bad score, i prepared for straight 2 months and i attended the workshop and studied really hard. in my denied letter, they listed this score as the same one i took the first time. i wonder why, and i know that i did better and i don’t see the chance of getting the same score twice as it is a test that have a different module or case.
I hope they mistakenly put the wrong WSA and i think it is a computerized decision based on WSA score and the system mistakenly took my bad first WSA score.
Do you think so?
my friend is also experiencing the same thing as you. her wsa was exactly the same as the previous one she took. since she got a 2 for the first time she gt rejected from foster. have you booked an appointment with the adviser? there’s no harm to double check with them!
is the breakdown of your wsa the same as before?
yeah i made an appointment with an adviser this wednesday and what do you mean by breakdown?
@bballer2034 Yes we would wait for the welcome packet from the campus. I believe that’s when we will know how to enroll and pay the fee.
Just got confirmation/congrats on myuw application status.
just wondering, has anyone here not received the letter yet?
I have not received the letter yet …:(( I feel like I am the only one who did not get it.
