Hi,

Given the following information, what are my chances of being admitted to UW and the Foster School of Business? Do you think that I have a realistic shot at gaining acceptance? Why or why not?

Combined GPA: 3.74
Pre-application GPA: 3.9
WSA (Writing Skills Assessment): Score unknown. However, I feel like I did perform well, and that my work included all necessary components listed in the WSA requirements.

Additionally, I’m applying to UW and Foster as a transfer student from a Washington State Community College (Edmonds Community College, aka EDCC) and am a born and raised Washington resident. My GPA from EDCC is 3.84. However, ten years ago, I attended a different local Community College and dropped put after realizing that I was not ready to be a college student. After working for a local company for five years, I decided to return to school, where I’ve become a successful college student. During my five-year employment period, I consistently got promoted and held multiple leadership roles, all of which I mention in my personal statement.
