Found out I'm a candidate for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Award. Should I notify schools? How?

So I got selected as a candidate presumably for good ACT and SAT scores but I haven’t actually won any kind of award yet. Is it worth notifying my schools now and if so should I email the admissions office or is there a better way to do that? I’m applying regular decision to Brown, Columbia, Cornell, and Harvard if there’s any school specific information.

god I swear smart people have the most swagtastically-illmatic names.

I don’t think it’s worth mentioning because the lists are usually published if you progress, and they already have your tests scores (and can probably predict whether or not you would have made it anyway). At the early states it’s purely stats based and they already have the information that served as the basis for it. But it can’t hurt either.

Do you have any other accomplishments since you put in your application? You can bundle a few things in an email to each admissions office, and just ask them to consider this information along with the rest of your application. Be sure you give your name and any identifying info (portal number? SSN?) to help them easily identify your application.
