CNN puts me to sleep. It is so boring and the colors are horrible (how much red can you put on a screen at one time). MSNBC is not much better than watching the shopping channel. Fox News on the other hand has "edge." The conservatives on Fox are actually intelligent and thoughful; not like conservaties such as CNN's Novak. There are many many liberals appearing all day long to fight/debate with conservatives. What makes Fox New unique is that it was the first channel to openly identify (or at least not hide) who is liberal and who is conservative. Thus, viewers know the speaker's "angle" and can make up their own minds. CNN is dominated by liberals who pretend they are objective.

Let's just put it this way: cable news networks are terrible. I think liberals and conservatives alike can agree to that.

fox news is the television equivalent of the new york post. absolute crap.

Fox News is conservatively slanted.
All the other news stations are liberally slanted.

Fox doesn't hide their views, and has people from both sides to debate, with the host usually being conservative. The other networks have people who pretend to be conservative.

mostly, TV news sucks so I just get 90% of my news online at blogs.

"Fair and balanced" has become a punch-line. Seriously, Fox Execs, if you're gonna report the news in an openly conservative manner, don't try to pass it off as "No Spin".

=

I love CNN!!! I have been addicted to it since my first semester junior year in College. I had such a rigorous courseload that I never had anytime to see the light of day. I had to turn to the news as my outlet to the world....thus an addiction began.

I do agree Fox news does have a conservative bias, but to be fair and honest most media outlets in this country do lean to the left. I personally enjoy this but cannot ignore the fact that conservatives do not have an equal voice in our media outlets. I would consider myself a liberal so I believe a liberal stance is the way to go but the perfect media outlet would be in the middle; in a perfect world of course!

I agree with bluthunder06; Nancy Grace has no business having an hour of CNN's time; she needs to go back to Court TV.

THE ALL TIME BEST OUTLET FOR CABLE NEWS INFORMATION IS.......CNN INTERNATIONAL!!!!
CNN International is the closest I have seen to a completely unbiased media outlet. We used to get the channel with DirecTV but then they took it away. It still comes on for an hour around noon eastern time.
I've noticed American media outlets report news from the standpoint of how any and everything effects America. If there is little or no effect there is little or no coverage.
So what about those who want to know about international news and does not care about how America is involved??? Not much was offered until CNN International. That is the best channel ever, I hope some people are still able to get this channel. It really gives you the most well rounded view of current international events and even the newscast is diverse.

Just my 2 cents .... I hope everyone has had/is having a great day!!!
