Fraternities

<p>Hi, can any current students give me a quick guide on the frats at USC?</p>

<p>yeah, i second that request...</p>

<p>like which ones are really popular, which are studious, which are the partiers, which are the surfers, etc... ?</p>

<p>Someone posted descriptions on the vanderbilt board and it was really helpful.</p>

<p>Well, I'm biased because I'm an SAE and I have 2 nephews who are SAE's, (and my son is an incoming freshman legacy) but objectively speaking it has been one of the top 2 or 3 houses at USC for decades. There is not a lot of studying going on in the house. That's what libraries are for. The house is primarily a social venue, but the same is true for all of the top houses.</p>

<p>yeah, my roommate's pledging SAE...pledge class president...don't see him that much but he seems to love it</p>

<p>Ya I'd also appreciate a quick overview of how each frat is generally perceived on campus, if only so I can feel like I'm planning out my future in a productive manner while avoiding my homework.</p>
