<p>Yes, school admin pusses out about it, but it happens and it’s really not a big deal. Only way into these institutions is to bend over and let that hooded man paddle you dry.</p>
<p>Turtlerock when I said some hazing is considered bonding I meant only really mild forms of hazing, by definition, can be a good bonding opportunity for pledges. Hazing has been defined to include a lot of things that shouldn’t really be there.</p>
<p>For example, when we were pledging we had to stay at the chapter house during our last week or so. Some people got couches but most of us had to sleep on the floor (with sleeping bags of course) and we had to work out before and after classes. </p>
<p>Now, by some peoples definitions that would be hazing but we didn’t see it as anything close to that. It gave us a chance to really be with each other, the last chance we would have as pledges. Getting through it together meant coming closer, and that’s the idea.</p>
