Be sure to check out the greek carnival and rush events in Aug/Sep.

There’s social frats/sororities, business frats, pre-law frats, pre-med frats, community service frats, etc. The latter 4 on campus are co-ed. Social frats/sororities have houses, others don’t.

Is there a list of the ones working at Berkeley?

Also, are frats exclusive, as in you can only join one? Or can you join multiple ones, as in a pre-law one plus a community service one?

Generally you’d want to stick to just one frat, especially if it’s a social fraternity. I know people that are in a social fraternity and another fraternity too.

Just check out Calgreeks.com or check out the Go Greek 2009 group on Facebook for all the information.

^What Rick said, and yes, you can join one social, one pre-med, one pre-law, one pre-business, one community service, etc. but no one does that.
