what about SAE? i would consider it only because the last and coming pledge classes. in the past i wouldve said that it was too pretentious for you (having such an open mind) but the coming classes are extremely diverse, laid back (more-so), and ambitious.

i'd choose Phi Tau. I abhor alcohol.

It seems to me a little early to have such pre-conceived notions on the stereotype of specific fraternities when Dartmouth doesn't even have freshman rush anymore. When did they outlaw the keg jump? I can't believe more people didn't get hurt doing it, but what finally prompts the school from getting rid of it after it persisted for so long? Sybbie says SAE is the inspiration for Omega in Animal House and slipper says Psi U. Which is it?

could someone write a better explanation of theta delt than the one written on that article? it doesn't explain anything and doesn't introduce anyone outside of the college to any sense or feel of what the frat is like at all.

and what do you mean about a pledge being "far worse" (e.g., psi u vs. AD)? does that mean psi u is more intense with partying, drinking, etc. or does it mean there is just more stuff to do and more tedious work given out by the brothers?

i'm also a '10 and am really interested in hearing about what these frats are all about. once again, i get along with meatheads really well and have found, from my own experience, that they are the most fun to be around in terms of hanging out and partying. is theta delt a bunch of meatheads? what about AD and psi u?
