So I know NEU has little Greek life but if I do want to join a frat can anyone tell me about the ones on campus?

there’s a frat with a house on tremont that is not nice. then there’s a frat with a brownstone on commonwealth which is unbelievably amazing. But, the frat with the house on tremont has guys who are marginally more attractive.

hah and that’s the extent of my knowledge on frats. Helpful I’m sure.

Well first of all don’t call it a “frat”, they are insistent that you call it a “fraternity”… still not sure why. There is only one fraternity with a registered house which is on comm ave. Most of the other ones just live together off campus together.

I’d say attend a rush info session in the fall and they will tell you all you need to know. There’s no need to decide now if its for you. On another note, they are really expanding their greek life here… they are adding a new fraternity (beta something) in the fall.

And the fraternaties will have their own LLC in Parcel 18

Contrary to popular belief, Greek life really isn’t that small at Northeastern… assuming it’s either the community/culture of it or parties that you are looking for, there’s no shortage of legitimate fraternity and sorority activity.

Greek life isn’t that small, I agree with etre. But the parties are definitely not completely dependant on the frats, like at some schools.

It is NOT like that I Love College Video on youtube
