Freaking ACT Math section!

So I'm a terrible standardized test taker. My highest ACT score was a recent 31 (31E 29M 29R 36S). My other score was a 30, which I will include because I got a 30 in math and a 35 in English. (Does MIT super score? Because, if they do, my score is 35E 30M 29R 36S.) I was wondering if I should definitely strive for a 33ish score next time, with a 33 or higher in math, OR if I get a good SAT2 Math2 score, will this cancel out my pretty horrid ACT math score?

Please help,
Vinay
P.S. - I have taken the ACT 3 times so far, and the SAT once! I got a 1990 on the SAT.

I’m not sure if they super score, but they do take your best scores. I would suggest retaking the ACT and your SATs, but your scores now would place you in the lower tier of scores reported to MIT. You can still get in, but you just have to have an outstanding personality/essays/school stuff. It’s just a little dangerous having scores this “low” (but in truth they’re good on the national average).
