<p>EEEPP All right So I just took a practice test out of barrons and got a 670. You must be thinking, "Wow, thats pretty good for barrons." the problem is that I left like 15ish blank mostly because I had no idea what the answer would be and i ran out of time. I took a real/official College Board test on Monday and got a 760. I had ten minutes to check over my work, but I still missed like 8 because I made stupid mistakes. unusually, I hardly make silly mistakes on the Barrons tests. So....am I still in the running for an 800? I don't remember a lot of forumlas (Whoever talks about the latus rectum of a hyperbola must have a lot of time in the school year...) and math is just not my best subject. It was my least score on the SAT :'(</p>
<p>First, 760 is good and quite acceptable for most colleges. second, you don’t have to get an 800 to get into the top colleges in engineering, though many admitted students at MIT/Caltech/Stanford do. I think 780 to 800 are considered similar scores for acceptance purposes. If you study up a bit, you will likely improve and have a very acceptable score for almost any institution since you are already doing well.</p>
