Freaking Out

I was wondering if anyone recieved anything from NYU after sending your app through common app. What I've recieved so far is an e-mail from common app saying that my app reached NYU. I thought maybe NYU would send an e-mail or send a letter saying they recieved my app too.

Have any of you recieved anything?!?!...Im so scared they havent recieved my application!

i haven't heard anything yet. from what i've learned, though, they only contact you if they're missing a part of your application...

ah!..really! thanks soo much...ive been worrying about it soo much

^ i don't think that's true.
i got an email from: admissions.ops@nyu.edu
which started off with "We have received your application for admission. Thank you very much for applying,"
along with a University ID number

perhaps you should call them to ask if they've received it.

OP, remember before matriculating at NYU it's received, not recieved.

oh no!...so u recieved something already?...I sent my app. on the day it was due...does that mean I probably get something soon...oh no..now im worried

"I before E, except after C" :)

Don't freak out, just call them and see if they received everything. A school like NYU gets thousands of applications, so it might take a while for them to process.

"I before E, except after C"

Or sounded like "a", as in neighbor and weigh!
