Just buy a blue book and you'll have 8 full tests. It's kinda expensive but it has practice and it's worth the investment IMO.

number2.com?

I think you get 1 free test at Sparknotes. You'll have to pay to get more tests.

the college board gives you one free one, i believe its located in my organizer once you log in

for sparknnotes, make multiple accounts to get all of the free tests

Only thing that I hate about the blue book is that it doesn't have explanations. As much money as you pay and you'd think they would atleast tell you why you missed something...

whats the actual nam of the blue book and how much is it

The Blue Book is The Official College Boad SAT something or other. I don't know the real name but if you go to a book store you can't miss it, it's the only blue one. It's about $25-ish, but I don't remember exactly.

kk thanks!

takesat.com or majortests.com

If I was you, I would by the official course offered at collegeboard.com. I think the tests are the same as the book (not sure) but they offer great explanations including where the choices are wrong. They have loads of quizes and essay grading. It costs a bit. about 70 dollars but i think it is worth it

can you print the tests from the CB course or are the only online tests?

bcon1388~ you can print them and also take them online. it is very efficient to navigate through

thanks sristi
and i'm assuming the tests are different than the ones located in the blue book?

bcon1388~I am not sure. I didn't buy the blue book. You can go on collegeboard.com and take a free tour

The Free SAT Vocabulary Prep Tool isn't a full SAT test, but it has sample verbal questions. Good for practicing vocab.

lol the question was how to get a free test, so why respond with stuff like "oh no pay $70 for a book it's worth it"?

Try out the local library for free test prep books, which is what I will be doing in 1 1/2 years when I start preparing for the SAT (luckily, while I do browse around here, I'm nowhere close to starting to worry/prepare xD). It has tests in them...except you don't have to buy them.

Sparknotes i believe also has a free SAT test. And this also may not be what you're looking for, but you can always ask your friends to borrow/have some free materials.

If your local library doesn't have a Blue Book, buy the newest one [cost me $20] and give it to your library after you get your 2400 [just write the answers outside] :)

just to clear things a lil, blue book and online course 6 tests are diff; u can get explanations for both type if u buy the online course, and u can only get the OC tests by buying it.
but the explanations for the tests are very superficial, it doesnt go deep enough to detect all the errors. i even found some contradicting answer explanations, but i guess worth it when u run out of tests.
