<p>It says that Sparknotes offer the first practice test FREE but why does it still ask for a credit card number?</p>
<p>Is it possible to access them another way or must you enter it? My folks aren't very eager when it comes to privacy stuff like that.</p>

let me explain the procedure with steps :
1. go to sparknotes.com
2. click on SAT Subject Tests
3. click go to the test center ( in your desired subject)
4. on the right you have

Your first practice test is free.
click on that link
5. select the test you want to take and then click continue
6. click on create a Sparknotes Account ( even if you already have one )
7. you sign up, you can use even non-existant e-mail adress, such as <a href="mailto:coconut@blue.com">coconut@blue.com</a> you don't need to activate your account form your e-mail
8. at last you can enjoy your test
if you want to take another test you have to open a new account because only the first test is free</p>

<p>i tried that i got that far, and the only options it gives are differenct tests which u must pay for. The only free diagnostic tests are for the aps not the sat II... can anyone help me out</p>

<p>I just bought the whole test center... it was only like $20 and you get ALL the test: ones for SAT I, SAT II's, everything. But yeah your first test is free.</p>

It works now!
I think the reason that it didn't work before was that I kept logging in to my old account; except I haven't taken any tests on that one before... </p>
<p>Anyways, time to study for Sat's test!
