"This is a great way for people to keep up with what's happening at Tulane, at any time, from anywhere," says Rachel Hoormann, director of university web communications. "But I want to know what app users think. Please send me your feedback and don't forget to rate and review the app in the iTunes store."

I got that email too about the Tulane App on Iphone. I confess, my first thought was “you can now fill out an appliction to attend Tulane on your phone?” :o

So here’s a related question… How is the verizon vs. AT&T service in NOLA? I know around here, AT&T is just not quite good enough to justify our intense longing for an iphone!

MY s has an Iphone this year (we upgraded from a flipphone his freshman year). I haven’t heard him complain about reception, but then again he likes to occasionally claim bad reception when he doesn’t want to talk! :)

DS texted me-- said the problem he had with AT&T has had issues with volume. They went out during Mardi Gras and the super bowl. Don’t know if other providers had similar problems.
