<p>I have to take this at orientation, but I haven't taken French since 10th grade (honors French 3). Do I have a shot at placing out of the first semester with 3 years of French? Any review books that you can recommend?</p>
<p>the french placement exam is very easy. It is all basic French. I easily got credits for well past the first 4 semesters (I still have multiple French credits to claim) with 4 years of french, without even having done super well in them. I think you will be fine with your 3 years, though if you really want to test out I would suggest reviewing what you can before you take the exam. Though, as I said, it is very easy.</p>
