French student wanting to go to college in New-York

Good morning everybody.
First of all, I'm French and don't speak English very well, so I apologize for my poor English level.
I've studied in France since I was born, I am going to get a bachelor degree in France next year and I was thinking that I could study in a college in New-York after.
I was wondering if you could give me some informations (since I didn't manage to find them by myself), like if I need to pass some English test first, or who I need to adress, or if my application would be the same as an American student's one.
I really could use all the help you're willing to give me.
