French vs. Spanish

As a learner of French currently residing in France, I would highly recommend learning Spanish against learning French. The frivolous association between Frenchiness and classiness consists a mere veneer which disproves itself everywhere in France. Classy, sounds like it, behaving classically, that is to say, having a taste or an essence, Frenchies don’t have. Despite what Americans would like to believe, French is notorious in Europe for being arrogant. I’ve met Germans, Turkish, and Swedish friends, and we all unfortunately agreed that French people are among the most arrogant in the continental Europe. If you like to learn literature, philosophy, or history, however, for the sake of reading primary sources, I would suggest French. You can really be very pretentious with sounds of French.

French is not a dying language, in fact, it’s growing. French is also spoken in many countries, like, canada, louisana, haiti, martinique, guadalope, France, most the countries in africa, madigascar, a few countries in asia and some other countries have it as one of their main languages, like the ones i named off. Paris is #1 in getting tourist. They get more tourist a year than their population. 2,203,817 is just the population in Paris.
