Freshman admission notification

Me too! :)

I got chp but not regents. Is there still a chance I will be offered regents at a later date or no

do you go to the message center to check?? cuz my message box is empty :(.

Both of my daughters got accepted to UCI and I don’t know when. I just checked their accounts and there it was! UCSD, UCSB, and UCLA haven’t posted anything yet.

can you tell me your daugter’s stats if you dont mind?? Just want to compare to mine…
Rank: top 5% 35 / 650 students
10~11 weighted GPA: 4.45
10~11 unweighted: 3.77
Regular cumulative GPA: 4.34(W) 3.71 (UW)

@holaamigos: The notification of admission appeared on the homepage right after I logged in. (Strangely enough, I did not get an email to notify me–it was a complete surprise.)

hmmmi dont see anything… maybe it was sent to people with regent scholarship? cuz i didnt get one

I got into CHP, but I did not get the Regents Scholarship for UCI.

If you got no notification, then I’m guessing that this means you have NOT been admitted to CHP and/or gotten Regents. But UCI officially starts releasing decisions on March 1st, so don’t lose hope!
Timeline of notifications: Error;

They’re not sending them out anymore? :(

^ I have no idea. Just keep checking–or wait it out until March.

By the way, congratulations to everybody who was accepted today!

My son and two of his friends got accepted and honors. It was on the home page when he logged in.

Congrats to those who got accepted.

Good luck to those who are waiting.

My daughter received acceptance into honors program today as well. Congrats to all others as well.

I got the e-mail at around 5 in the morning and when I logged into my homepage, I saw the the acceptance into the Regents and honors program. The Regents Scholarship offered 2500 per year (I’m not sure if all Regents offer the same amount?)

My stats:
SAT: 2220
GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.8 W

I have noticed that everyone who received the regents scholarship was also accepted into the honors program. I believe that once admissions decisions are out for those who did not make it into the honors program, they will also release the notifications for the regents scholarships. One does not have to be in the honors program to receive the regents scholarship. I believe they will still be sending out more notifications regarding the scholarship so please do not lose hope  I have not receive anything yet…no honors, no regents, nothing… Just going to say a prayer and hope for the best.

My son was accepted into the honors program, but no Regents. I was poking around on the website trying to find out more about the honors program. It says that there are 700 students in the program (out of a total ugrad enrollment of 22,000). Is there more information on CC about this program? I haven’t been able to find much by searching.

I was accepted into the Honors program, got the e-mail this morning. My stats: 2180 SAT, 4.2 W gpa

I got an email stating that there were changes made to my account, clicked on it, had to agree to a long list of things, and kablam - I’ve been accepted to UCI? Along with the Honors program. 2190 SAT / 3.8 UW / 4.2 W

I’m a dad wondering the same thing. At first we thought it would come in a separate mailing. Now I’m not so sure.

@ImJustBubba: The online notification came before the email, which came before the letter in hard copy.

@verytired: The “long list of things” is probably your conditions for admission, right? You don’t have to agree to that until when and if you decide to enroll at UCI.
