A friend told me that freshman at the University of Miami are not allowed to have a cars their first year. What if you own a car but park it at the metrorail near the university? It is safe to leave your car there? Will the university allow it?

Thanks! :)

True that you aren’t allowed to have cars. You’re going to get towed/a ticket if you park it at the metro without using the metro (plus that’s expensive - $4 a day). The only reasonable way to have a car if you’re a freshman is if you have a friend with an appartment that will allow you to park your car in their spot.
