I'm currently a freshman in high school (asian-american ethnicity/14 years old), and would like to expand my knowledge towards my future. The classes that I am currently taking first semester and current grades:

English 9 Honors [90.90/A-]

Spanish I [92.83/A-]

Algebra II Honors [86.85/B]

Sec. Physical Ed. I [95.00/A]

BMF-Comp. Applications [N/A]

Biology I Honors [90.08/A-]

World Hist. & Civiliz. [97.69/A]

Intro. to 2-D Art [87.12/B+]

The second would be the same except with computer apps in place of physical education. I maxed out my schedule and went without study hall to increase my schedule for another class. I slacked in my first nine weeks, which lowered my average as of right now. I'd like recommendations of study/homework tactics that worked for you firsthand because I really want to improve my grades too. Bummed out that I only achieved around a 3.6 GPA in my first nine weeks.

I work at my parent's restaurant most of the time in the evenings after school, so it's a bit frustrating without any chance of extracurricular activities. I sure as heck would not fit in sports. My brother had dropped out in 2006/2007 and lives with us ever since then; I've been determined to set my mind directly to school.

Another bit I'd like to mention. I'm really love technology, and would love to learn more about computers, developing software, engineering, etc. however, there are so many fields within that category; I don't know how to choose between each specification.

At home, I've been stuck with a cheap laptop to spend my time on, and recently ordered one with my own money; yet always dreaming to build a desktop but with no one to help me; I'm clueless. At school, there are only limited classes because of our small high school compared to cities around us. I was hoping for help to decide a career path to go down specifically. I would like to earn a good living while still staying around things that I love. Recommendations on what to do to improve my knowledge, classes, or colleges would be awesome.

Any help or comments would be great!
