Freshman Class Registration

I am currently filling the Freshman Guide and I have to choose my classes. I am in the school of communications and I am confused on what to take. Are the classes you pick the final ones, or can you change it later? Also, how do youknow what classes to take that meet the requirements and all? Do you get to talk to your advisor once your there for a final schedule?

Take a look at the post started yesterday about registration. I don’t believe this is binding. I think it’s letting your advisor know what you would like, he/she makes the schedule, then you two review it at orientation.

The classes you choose aren’t binding but they do get your foot in the door. You do also get to meet with your advisor at orientation to go over the schedule they have created for you. If you do want to change your classes around at orientation, however, you may run into more difficulty as they will have been placing other freshmen in the classes as well so it may not be as easy to move things around but they are usually pretty good at managing to get you a schedule that is to your liking
