<p>11 credits or less = part time student. so right now you’re part time.</p>

<p>You do not need to take Physics freshman year. Many ChemEs don’t. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. </p>
<p>The only thing I think they’ll make you take is either Engr100 or 101 your first semester. After that, it’s really up to you. They might tell you that you “have” to take whatever class, but they won’t force you to sign up for it.</p>
<p>But also, it might cause problems for declaring your major, which might cause problems for taking ChemE classes. Check the requirements for declaring.</p>

<p>I looked through the sample schedule, and I think I can take all required courses. In worst case, I can take math course a semester later.</p>
