Freshman housing question

So my friend and I are requesting each other for rooming and here is our list:

  1. Unit 1 double
  2. Unit 2 double
  3. Unit 3 double
  4. Unit 1 double room in mini-suite OR Clark Kerr double
  5. any room - any location

As you can see we really want a Unit double or double mini-suite. But we heard that freshman chances for Unit doubles and double mini-suites were extremely low, and we are scared that our four first options are so contested that we will be placed in a triple or something in foothill…

So the question is, should we go for the Clark Kerr double as our fourth option because the chances are higher than a Unit mini-suite? Or are the chances of those two options pretty much the same?
