Freshman Housing

I’m going to be an out-of-state freshman residing in the Taylor Tower honors dorm, but unfortunately it is not academic year housing, so I won’t have a place to stay during Spring Break. I called the housing service office, and they said I could switch to an academic year dorm after fall semester if any rooms become available. What are the chances of an academic year dorm room becoming available if I apply at the beginning of the autumn semester? I’d prefer to stay in Bradley Hall during spring semester if that’s possible since it’s an honors and academic year dorm, but I don’t think my chances of getting a room there are high. If I can’t get into an academic year dorm for spring semester, what should I do? Are there apartments or other types of living quarters close to the campus that I could rent for one week?

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!

Not sure but per my daughter Bradley is one of the most popular dorms for freshman on south campus so I would say that would be less likely.

Maybe OSUlolz would be better to help you.

Ok, thank you for your help!
