Freshman Induction Ceremony

<p>My parents and I are trying to figure out move-in day and when the best time for my parents to get a flight back home is, and a lot of this depends on the induction ceremony and whether or not it's worth it for parents to go to.</p>

<p>So long story short: What is the Freshman Induction Ceremony, how long does it take, and is it worth going to for parents if they could skip it and get a cheaper flight home?</p>

<p>I didn’t bother to attend it. I doubt you will be missing anything.</p>

<p>It’s not worth it. You’ll hear a few speakers but you won’t learn anything new or miss out on a pivotal moment of your college experience. My roommate’s parents left before and she turned out just fine.</p>
